The Hollywood Food Coalition and three local churches are spearheading a volunteer effort to provide a hot Thanksgiving meal to local encampments on Thanksgiving Day. Local support has also been provided from Big Sunday and Canter’s – with a generous contribution of additional food preparation. With a home base provided at Gobble Gobble Give’s Hollywood location, this Thanksgiving is a communal effort to ensure everyone experiencing food insecurity has an opportunity to be fed.
Below are a few ways for you to get involved!
1. Volunteer on Thanksgiving Day. Sign up HERE to help distribute meals on Thanksgiving day (Thursday, November 26), while staying physically distant but socially connected.
2. Donate. If you are unable to volunteer in person, but would like to make a fiscal donation to the Hollywood Food Coalition, you may do so HERE.
