It’ll be an exciting weekend in the 13th District, and I hope you’ll join thousands of your fellow Angelenos in a fun, family-friendly celebration of public space.
This Sunday, August 21, for the first time since 2019, we welcome CicLAvia back to Hollywood and East Hollywood!
From 9am to 4pm this Sunday, this beloved event will shut down 6.6 miles of City streets to car traffic, returning them to pedestrians, cyclists, joggers, spectators and more.
As an avid cyclist and longtime champion of pedestrian safety, I always look forward to CicLAvia, which has done so much to reshape how we relate to our public spaces.
This edition’s route will encompass the following 13th District corridors:
✅Hollywood Boulevard between Virgil Avenue and Highland Avenue
✅ Highland Avenue between Hollywood Boulevard and Santa Monica Boulevard
✅Santa Monica Boulevard between Highland Avenue and La Brea Avenue
