    Nearly 100 Trees Planted

Partnering with the DWP and the Los Angeles Conservation Corps, the Media District has planted nearly a hundred trees around the district in the past few weeks. A total of 300 trees are being planted total, and should be done by the end of the month.

The trees are Brisbane Box trees in most locations. Australian Willows are being planted where lines run overhead.

The trees and installation were paid for by DWP, the BID will only have to water and maintain the trees during their establishment period for 2 years. The project's design was by Suisman Urban Design in cooperation with the LACC, and the Media District's Campus Committee.
